Catherine Chasanoglou was born in Colombia and at age 8 moved to Greece with her family where she raised and graduated in Tourism Management.
Catherine has had a love and passion for art from early age, She had her first art lessons from her father who is a figurative painter. In Greece she studied Calligraphy and watercolors. When Catherine moved to Italy, she met her mentor Enzo Prestileo, who taught her Figurative painting and realism for 4 years. While in Sorrento she also learntthe traditional art of crafting and decorate Ceramic. In Spain Catherine met the master of Hyperrealism Eloy Morales and took part to most of his workshops. Catherine is primarily inspired by the beauty of nature. Currently Catherine lives and paints in Italy. Her work can be found in Syart gallery in Sorrento. |
